Hello,
I have a Shuttle SG31G2.
I am trying to record in stereo via the Line-In Port (B9) on the back panel. Unfortunately, with all the settings I have tried I seem to be getting another signal showing which is constantly there on the Digital Input DEvice (SPDIF). When I check ‘Sound’ in ‘control panel’ in vista it is showing a constant signal. I have no idea where this signal is coming from as I have no other inputs to the computer and is even acknowledging a signal when I only have the power cable and mouse and keyboard connected to the computer. Its only got a signal on the left channel when I record with Audacity software. Any ideas?

Re: Recording on Line-in
hi I have been posting with a similar problem
I am using XP with a Realtek soundcard, and my line-in won't record (although it will play from that fine)but I can record mono using MIC and resetting the Audacity setting to MIC.
Don't know if it is but it sounds like you have the same problem.
regards
