error while opening sound device
Ok so I used Audacity and a cable from my Nintendo DS's headphone jack to the computer's microphone jack to record sounds and whatnot. I got a new computer and wanted to put a new song I made on the computer. But when I try to start recording, a message pops up saying: Error While Opening Sound Device. Please Check The Input Device Settings and the Project Sample rates. What? Can someone help me? This used to work and it was the same way to transfer tapes and whatnot through the headphone jack and what not.

But not on this computer. You might try resetting the Audacity audio settings.
Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O > 2 (Stereo)
Edit > Preferences > Quality > 44100, 16-bit.
Restart Audacity to make sure the settings stick and try it again.
