Audacity records the digital data that is sent to it from the sound card. If the sound card is over-emphasising the high frequencies, then that is what Audacity will record. A high quality sound card should produce accurate recordings.

How are you recording your music? What sort of sound card? What other equipment?

Audacity does not support ASIO or MIDI and has very limited support for VST (no support for VSTi).
FL is know to cause compatibility issues if you have the VST bridge installed in Audacity (so don't install the VST bridge).
FL uses ASIO drivers by default which are not supported by Audacity. Audacity only uses the standard Windows drivers.

The problems are likely to be from trying to use FL and Audacity at the same time. If you reboot and restart Audacity does it work?

one of the things that happened was that i had fl studio with a song ready to record in audacity so i opened audacity and when i pressed rec a message appeared saying(error while opening sound device .Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate) so i closed both programs and this time i opened audacity first then fl studio and this time when i pressed rec to see if it was going to record this time it did it worked so i started making music in fl studio after a few hours when i was over and ready to record i pressed rec in audacity and again that message appeared (error while opening sound device...)
as you suggest ,im gonna try rebooting and restarting audacity to see if works
PD:WHATS THE VST BRIDGE YOURE TALKING ABOUT ? IM GONNA CHECK THAT TOO ¡¡¡¡¡¡
SOON I'LL SEND YOU MORE INFORMATION ABOUT MY PROBLEMS WITH AUDACITY
THANKYOU VERY MUCH STEVE...
