Hello,

Is the Microphone input on a standard laptop stereo. If not are there any good devices to convert a standard stereo tape input to stereo USB?

Some are mono / microphone only and some are mono or stereo (microphone or line). Most are poor quality.

Yes, I use a Behringer UCA 202. Another regular on the forum uses an Edirol UA1-EX.
