changing the tone on an MP3

i got the mp3 into audacity, but i cant figure out haw to change the tone of the song. please help anyone who can

The Equalizer in Audacity 1.3 is better than the one in the old 1.2 version - I recommend that you upgrade to Audacity 1.3.7
