Need help with recording!!!

Hi! I need help with the recording. I know how to record but it's another problem. When I record I'm able to hear the different tracks while I'm recording example a beat.. I have a beat on audacity then when I'm gonna record I cant hear the beat. Why can't I hear the beat?? Cause I could hear the beat while I was recording before but just one day I couldn't just like that.. please help me with the problem!!!

Open Audacity, click Edit -> Preferences -> Audio I/O.

You probably turned off "play other tracks while recording new one." It should be ON.
