Hi,
I've been using Audacity to convert a vinyl record to digital format. Audacity will record the audio via usb connection to my computer and play it back no problem.
However, when I try to convert the file to MP3 or WAV Format, Windows Media Player 11 and Apple I-tunes will both run the file(s), but no audio is heard.
This is so frustrating! Anyone have any tips on how I can resolve this issue?
Thank you all in advance.

<<<when I try to convert the file to MP3 or WAV Format>>>
You used the wrong English words. You need to Export your show to get a WAV or MP3 file. Audacity will not Save a sound file.
Sometimes you can have export problems with Audacity's default sound settings. Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O and Quality. 44100, 16-bit (not 32), and Stereo ( not Mono). Audacity uses 32-Floating unless you change it. Not everybody supports that format.

I tried switching to 16 bit, I was already using the other settings you mentioned. No luck. PS how did you know I was working on a show??
