Can't find MP3 Library

Can't find MP3 Library

I have tried numerous times to export to MP3 and keep getting the same error "could not open MP3 encoding library". I have deleted the config files, unistalled both Audacity and Lame and keep getting the same error. I am running WindowsXP Audacity 1.3.7. I was getting the same errors with 1.2 and have uninstalled that also. Any ideas?

Thanks! I tried this after removing all the old components and rebooting and still have the same errors! Very frustrating. Any other ideas?

Try using the lame.dll from here: http://www.rarewares.org/files/mp3/lame ... 3.98.2.zip

I am NOT recommending this for Audacity 1.3.7 but it works for Audacity 1.2.6
