Snap-To Question

Post by m12462 » Sat May 30, 2009 6:07 am

When I have the Snap-To ON, I can only select in increments of 1 second. Is there any way to change that other than turning Snap-To off?

Thank you!

The three boxes of numbers after the "Snap To" tick box show the start, length or end, and play positions. Each has a little triangle next to it. If you click on the triangle you get a drop down list that allows you to select the time format. "Snap To" will snap to the smallest unit of your selected time format.

I use the Stable 1.2.6 version, and I do not see any boxes with numbers. Is it possibly version 1.3 you're referring to?

I thought these numbers were available in both 1.2 and 1.3, but I've not used 1.2 for a long time so you could be right. I would recommend upgrading to Audacity 1.3.7.
