Use of Microsoft Microphone
Audacity does not recognize my Microsoft Lifechat Microphone. The microphone works with the sound tester on my computer. Help!

Connect the USB microphone before opening Audacity.
Open Audacity and look in "Edit menu > Preferences > Audio I/O"
You need to set the recording and playback devices to match the devices that you are wanting to use.
