Multiple Songs on One Track

Post by Doug Brannon » Thu May 28, 2009 9:53 pm

I want to be able to place multiple songs on one track, and have a space between them. On the second track, I want to be able to do the same thing, which will enable me to blend the two tracks between the spaces. When I place a second song on the same track, they butt up against each other. Anyway to prevent that.

Most editors have no concept of "nothing." A Space is a thing and to get one in your show, you have to put one in.

Generate > Silence.

Upgrade to Audacity 1.3.7 - this version supports arbitrary positioning of multiple audio clips (it does what you are asking for)
