Audacity stopped working... I installed fruity loops recently, and ever since, Audacity only opens a big gray window called "temporarytopwindow" and doesn't do anything, i have to force quit it in task manager.
I'm not sure fruity loops had anything to do with this, but I've tried reinstalling audacity several times and the same thing keeps happening... any ideas?

Re: Audacity stopped working
It seems Fruity Loops did have something to do with this problem, maybe someone should look into why this happens?
(I uninstalled fruity loops and Audacity works again)

Re: Audacity stopped working
Audacity is a really simple audio program and it likes running on really simple computers. Audacity doesn't always get along with Vonage and Skype, either. There's no "corporation" behind Audacity, so there's nobody around to test and repair every other sound program out there.
Couple that with Audacity 1.2 being really old and having one foot in the grave and you might be able to solve this problem by simply upgrading to 1.3.
