i wanted to change the volume of a tune...2 do this i hightlight the tune and play the tune...then you save it in the new volume
is this right?is there a manuel for the updated version?

While your music is on the timeline, select all of it...
Edit > Select > All.
Then apply any of the volume control filters; Normalize, Amplify, Compressors, etc.
They will all change the volume and it's up to you to know what you want to do with your song because they all work a little different.
Then Export to make a new sound file. Audacity Save will not make a sound file.
