Can I record an interviewee at a different location?

I want to interview someone. Is it possible with audacity please?

Audacity can record sound, yes. If you have a notebook computer, a microphone, a sound card with a good enough pre-amp (or an external pre-amp), and any necessary cables and adapters, you can record remote interviews with audacity. If you have a notebook with a built-in mic, you can use that, but you might get a noisy recording. If you have a desktop computer, you'll need some other kind of portable recording device, but you can transfer the recording to Audacity later.

All that, plus if you do the interview with one of the Voice Over IP services (Vonage or Skype) you may be able to record the conversation with the company's own software.

Pamela software is another way to record VOIP performances.

A typical problem with getting Audacity to do the work is that you only get one side of the conversation, not both.
