HI All
I'd like to thank the Audacity Team for a fine program. I'm new to Audacity, but I have Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition. UNLIKE Audition, I'd say Audacity is pretty intuitive,
. Audition is very intimidating when you start. I was able to use Audacity right away for a few tasks, and it pretty much 'just worked'. I tried a few filters/effects and found they worked well. Some controls may not be as finely tuned as Audition, but they were quite adequate for the tasks at hand. I have been peeking through the FAQ, the Wiki and now the Forums. Nice Job.
I'll say that I was discussing open projects the other day and was making the case that most 'desktop' programs are feature sparse, and generally lack 'pop and sparkle' - this is clearly an exception. Nice job - thank you very much to all the contributors.
So when I get my 'web-welfare' check next I may need to make a donation. I did answer a question on another thread, so my conscience is clear for today. LOL.
