One 'mo thanks man!

Post by jonnybeeFL » Mon Oct 01, 2007 4:16 pm

HI All

I'd like to thank the Audacity Team for a fine program. I'm new to Audacity, but I have Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition. UNLIKE Audition, I'd say Audacity is pretty intuitive, ;) . Audition is very intimidating when you start. I was able to use Audacity right away for a few tasks, and it pretty much 'just worked'. I tried a few filters/effects and found they worked well. Some controls may not be as finely tuned as Audition, but they were quite adequate for the tasks at hand. I have been peeking through the FAQ, the Wiki and now the Forums. Nice Job.

I'll say that I was discussing open projects the other day and was making the case that most 'desktop' programs are feature sparse, and generally lack 'pop and sparkle' - this is clearly an exception. Nice job - thank you very much to all the contributors.

So when I get my 'web-welfare' check next I may need to make a donation. I did answer a question on another thread, so my conscience is clear for today. LOL.

:D

One?

Tell you what. Find someone with Linux experience. Nobody ever visits over there. I'm going to get one of the Systems Gurus to stop by. They actually got our Linux service to work reliably week after week.
