Way to delete multiple silence

I hvae made recording of lectures. The lecture had a lot of brief pauses/silences.

Is it possible to delete that multple brief pauses without much manul editing ?

No, it's not. You can make it a little less painful to listen to by speeding it up a few percent using Change Speed. But there is no automated pause remover.
