How to divide a long track into short ones?

I'm just getting started with Audacity but having a ball.

I just burned my first CD from a .wav file that I created with Audacity. The problem is that the track is of an hour long speach. Since CD players frequently don't have a fast forward/reverse buttons, like tape decks do, I'm forced to listen to the entire speach from beginning to end. Is there a way to insert marks into the recording so that CD players think the disk contains mulitple short tracks, say 10 minutes in length? That way I could use the track select buttons on the player to move around in the recording.

Oops, I think I just found the answer to my question. I apologize for not reading enough before asking questions.

It looks like a solution explained in the FAQ will do what I want. I'll try it later today. Here's what I found:

I presume this will do the trick.
