Hi,
I've got a problem. Input source combo-box on mixer toolbar is disabled and I can't choose input source. I tried to change settings but it doesn't helps. I've got integrated Realtek ALC888 with HDAudio drivers.
Please, help!

Read this:

To summarize, update your drivers and use the Edit -> Preferences -> Audio I/O menu to change sources.

I've got installed sound driver that was on the MoBo CD in "vista" directory - must be ok. In settings there is only microphone, but I need "What U Hear".

In that case, your drivers don't allow you access to that input. You either need new drivers (don't rely on the drivers on a CD, they're probably outdated) or new hardware.

I've just installed last drivers, but combobox is still disabled. What can I do?

This may be a complete coincidence, but I had the same problem with XP. I'd open Audacity, choose "New", and then find the source box grayed-out. Imagine my chagrin when I found that all I had to do was open Audacity. The source box was useable, and I was on my way. I didn't really realize what was what until I selected "New" again and found that the source box was grayed-out again. I'm a total newbie at Audacity, but at least I've got it recording from "Line In" with an analog source (cassette tape) and delivery very good results.

If adjusting the settings of your OS's audio software (covered in that link I gave you earlier) didn't help, then the only other option is to get new hardware or wait for proper drivers.
If you want new hardware, I haven't heard any complaints about the
Behringer UCA202.
