Here. I made a new one. You don't get the green flashing lights?

I think you mean I/O (Input/Output) rather than 1/0 (one zero).

Open Audacity
Click on "Edit" in the top menu
Select "Preferences" (at the bottom of that menu)
The "Preferences Window" will open - it has several tabs
Sect the tab that says "Audio I/O" (this is the first tab, so it will probably be selected already.

To save typing, we usually abbreviate this to "Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O"

Over the past week or so I've been recording things on audacity through the microphone built into my laptop (running vista home basic) and they've been playing back fine and all, but now whenever I go to play them back, I get the flashing green lights, the cursor thingy moves, the blue bars are all there, but no sound comes out. The warning/alert noises are still working, and my sound works fine on everything else on my computer but no matter what I try (restarting, changing the I/O settings), nothing seems to be fixing it. Any ideas on what may be the cause of this and how I can fix it?
Thanks guys.
