error:2 the systom cannot find the file specified

Post by hopnfeather » Sun Dec 30, 2007 2:01 am

Hello, when I open a mp3 on audacity this error comes up. I can play the first 5-20 seconds off the song and then it stops. Have you ever ran into this problem?

Is the whole file loading into Audacity (does it show up as a visual wave)?
Is this with one particular mp3, or any mp3?

Yeah, it's with one particular mp3. I tried to burn it to a CD and recopy it to my library and it still does not work. I would say that the waves look a little thinner than usual. When I imported raw, it shows were the song will stop. Come to think about it this error had been coming up for all my wav. or mp3s and they all still work except for this certain one. It also seems like the more room I free up, the longer the song will play. A couple of warning told me that there was barley any room when i imported this specific mp3. I appreciate your response, it is really confusing though to help me. I better just clean up my computer first it had not much room.
