Re: ezcap usb audio capture problem
I'm assuming that what you want to do is create an audio CD that you can play anywhere, and that you would like the CD to have separate tracks for each song you have recorded from LP or tape.
You need to export the audio from audacity to WAV or AIF, then use CD burning software (iTunes will work) to burn an audio CD. Be certain that you are not burning a data CD, as it will not play in a CD player.
The excap probably came with Audacity 1.2.5/6. If you want to continue using 1.2, this tutorial from the wiki may help
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... ate_tracks
The full manual for 1.2.x is here: http://audacityteam.org/manual-1.2/index.html
You may want to consider upgrading to 1.3.11 (not 1.3.10, as it has a bug in the Export Multiple command). 1.3.11 is available here:
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... tly_Builds
If you upgrade to 1.3.11, this tutorial on splitting a recording into separate tracks may be more appropriate:
http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.ph ... o_CD#split
The full manual for 1.3.11 is here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.ph ... =Main_Page

Re: ezcap usb audio capture problem
We're interested in the version of Audacity. With Audacity running click on Help > About Audacity. What does it say?cycart wrote:ezcap version on discs reads 3.1.2A,

Nero should work, as I understand, but one of the Windows elves will need to confirm (I'm a Mac guy).
You don't need LAME unless you want to make MP3 files to put on an MP3 player or email to friends. You want to export as WAV for burning CDs.
