Recording Time Question

Post by Kieran » Sat Dec 15, 2007 10:08 pm

I have noticed that my Audacity indicates that I have only 69 hrs. of recording time. Why? Does this mean that I won't be able to record anymore or do I have to download something new?

No, it means you can start a recording and come back in 69 hours to stop it. Then you can move the data to an external hard drive for safe keeping and do it all again.

I personally wouldn't go that far because you do run into a lot of other problems with a show that long, but that refers to available continuous recording time, probably stopping just before you run out of hard drive space.
