No Stereo

Hi,
This is my first time on this forum and hope someone can help. I recorded an album and everything went ok and then exported so that I could burn onto a CD.(Using Ashampoo Burning Studio) So far so good. Unfortunately when playing on my CD player I only get to hear it in mono. What have I done wrong or what haven't I done?

Are you sure of this? Did Audacity actually record a stereo signal?

You could also listen back to file you exported from Audacity and see if that's in proper stereo.

Also, I think it's possible that your stylus is misaligned and is only picking up a mono signal, but I'm not certain of that.

Lastly, this is a stereo LP you recorded, right?

My apologies alatham-I should have followed up my query immediately. Found the answer to my problem. Re-read 'extra notes about burning' -followed advice about project>new stereo track> etc. Stereo now ok. Learning all the time about this wonderful application.
