blending two audio files

Post by jspinx » Fri Sep 18, 2009 11:35 pm

Hello everyone
I created a sound file of my voice on one computer with audacity and another sound file of my voice on another computer. The sounds are completely different. in one file my voice is dark and muffled and the other file my voice is loud and clear. I put both voices on one audacity file and I would like them to sound the same, how do I do this? Thanks for your help

You probably don't. People go through a lot of effort to record voices and sound clips with the same microphone and same recorder to avoid having to match voices later.

The grownups have trouble doing that. It's just about impossible for anyone else.
