beginner help

Post by mikej327 » Mon Jul 27, 2009 12:50 am

I want to record audio from youtube and Ive read all the FAQs and that still doesnt help. When I play audio o youtube and I go to hit record on audacity an error message pops up that says to check the Input device settings and project sample rate. I go to Audio I/O and under "recording" in the device column theres nothing to pick from. Any help would be appreciated.

See here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... ng_devices
Check that you have a recording device enabled.

Ok under recording devices I have 3 options and none of them are plugged in, so I assume this is the problem. The 3 listed are FrontMic, Microphone and Line In. What one do I choose for recording audio from youtube?
