This may have been asked but please bear with me. What are the recommended ways to avoid any skipping? It happens intermittently during playback, and i record dj mix shows, so i thought that it was hiccupping when two tracks were "on" at once..however it seems to happen randomly during the middle of songs too, when i'm not mixing in another track. Any suggestions?

The two most common causes of skipping are full hard drives and Virus Protection. Disconnect the network and suspend or turn off your virus software. That help?
