Hi all, maybe this is a faq, but got no hints on previous posts and posted faqs, so I ask u help here

I have some wav recordings of lessons I have attended, and I'd like check them to correct notes I got while attending, but recording is horrible, I hear just lots of noise and in the background the speaker voice... is there any way to make that voice clear enough?
I tried filtering only 300Hz-3KHz, it somewhat improves but Im still too far for something good, so please if u have some hint to let me do the job, Im grateful!

Generally, when you get to the unintelligible garbage stage, all the software is going to do is produce much better unintelligible garbage.

You might try the Noise Reducer. Select two or three seconds of Room Tone--the sound of the room with nobody speaking. Effect, Noise Removal, Get Noise Profile.

Then select a minute or so of the actual lecture and apply the tool. Effect. Noise Reducer, Remove Noise (or Preview). Most people find the slider should be almost all the way off (to the left). If that doesn't work, or you don't have enough room tone, you may be out of luck.

You may find a setting where the voice is Donald Duck with swishy noise in the background, that may be as good as you can do. We are pleased you're not trying to rescue a music performance.
