Zoom L12_Audacity Setup Steps

I have an Aspire Acer (Windows 11); and a Zoom L12 that I want to be ‘seen’ by Audacity 3.7.7: not successful yet!

I have downloaded Zoom L12 drivers to my computer.

I have connected Zoom L12 to Acer using the cord from Zoom L12 USB host; switch MODE to Audio Interface. What the steps that I should use to see Zoom L12 as the computer sound device in Audacity?

Check your Windows Permissions/Privacy Settings to make sure Audacity is allowed to use it.

IMO - There are advantages recording directly to the Zoom, and then optionally editing on the computer… There are lots of computer settings that can get messed-up and the multitasking operating system (which is always multitasking and interrupting) complicates things.

And if you are multi-track recording, it seems like very few people are successful with Audacity. :frowning: (I haven’t tried it.)
