Zoom H8 (Audio Driver) as Microphone

I have successfully used a Zoom H8 as a Microphone (using the Zoom H8 Audio Driver) with four microphones and the XY mic connected and Selecting:
Windows WASAPI
Microphone (Zoom H8 Audio Driver)
Headphones (Zoom H8 Audio Driver)
…and I have had the choice of many recording channels, but recently the only recording channel options I can get to present themselves in Audacity is:
1 (Mono)
2 (Stereo)
Has something changed in Audacity or what can I check in my Window settings/drivers to use the Zoom H8 with multiple microphones → multiple tracks in Audacity again?

I don’t know… But It seems like most have trouble multi-tracking with Audacity. :frowning:

And… There are advantages to using a stand-alone recorder and the editing with the computer later. There’s a much-higher chance of something “going wrong” with a computer.

I think I figured something out…

I had both the Zoom H8 Audio Driver and ASIO4ALL drivers loaded on my PC. I uninstalled the Zoom H8 Audio Driver and left the ASIO4ALL driver installed and now I am getting the choice of up to 12 channels in the track setup for Audacity!!
