Windows 7, 32 bit. Audacity 2.1.2 exe
Hello,
Audacity 2.1.2 can not understand that there is space on the second monitor and opens in the default position in the middle of first monitor.
Audacity 2.1.1 correctly opens in the same place as the last time.
Audacity 2.1.2 opens in place specified in C:\Users\myName\AppData\Roaming\Audacity\audacity.cfg
[Window]
X=1921
Y=0
Width=1000
Height=400
Maximized=0
Normal_X=1921
Normal_Y=0
Normal_Width=1000
Normal_Height=400
Iconized=0
I haven’t seen that [Window] block when using version 2.1.1. under Windows 7.
But under linuxmint-17.3-cinnamon-64bit and Audacity 2.0.5 above parameters gave proper location in the corner of second monitor.
If the whole window fits inside the first monitor than Audacity 2.1.2 opens correctly according to coordinates X, Y, Width, Height. If part would stick outside the first monitor, than Audacity opens in the middle of first monitor and the window has big default size.
Both monitors are 1920*1080, the first (main) on the left is horizontal (Landscape),
the second is vertical (Portrait flipped). It won’t work even if both are Landscape.
For me this is a problem, because Audacity blocks a part of screen which is continuously scanned.
For now I’m using old version, nevertheless hope for solution.
Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug? Should I report it somewhere else?
HELP,
KrzysztofS
