Would it be possible to open two instances of Audacity?

Hi,

Would it be possible to open two instances of Audacity of Windows version 2.3.0?

Suppose I have already opened one instance of Audacity. For some reason I need to open another instance, so I can work on two projects at the same time. With Audacity opened already, after I click Audacity icon on desktop, it always shows the first instance without open another instance.

No, but I think you can open two instances of the same project. It’s highly restricted. For example, you can’t record four different audio channels, two here and two there.

Open one and then File New. Of course, that’s on a Mac. I’m not sure how it works in Windows. Someone will post.
