I am a first time user playing around with a new USB turntable I just bought. I had no trouble recording a few LPs and exporting them as AIFF or WAV files. I can drag and drop them into my iTunes library, and play them there just fine. But when I sync with my iPod they either don’t play on the iPod, or only about half of the songs on the album play. I tried converting the files in iTunes to AAC before synching, but that didn’t seem to help. Any suggestions? Thanks

Which half? Exactly what songs play? You can see the song on the little screen, right? do you get the arrow play icon? Does it seem to be playing just nothing comes out?
Where does sit fail?
In Playback Preferences, do you have any of the “helper” services selected like SoundCheck?
I can’t imagine how you would get this kind of error.

Thanks for the quick reply. I recorded a double album with 10 songs on each LP. All 20 playback fine in iTunes on my computer. When transferred to my iPod, a random 5 songs play from the first LP and none from the second. It even seems to change the numbering (order) of the 5 that play, but none of the other 5 will play. On the second LP, when I click on a song to play, it briefly flashes the screen that would play it and then jumps back to the name of the song. I recorded another album and the same thing happens. I can play all songs on my computer but none on my iPod. Soundcheck was on and I turned it off and it made no difference. I think I might try putting the songs on a newer iPod and see if that matters. Mine is the oldest in the house. Thanks again.
I think I got it figured out. I converted all of the files in iTunes to the ACC format before putting them on the iPod. This seemed to do the trick. Thanks.
