Won't record

Hi! I have an HP computer with Windows 10. Audacity “sees” the USB audio, a Behringer UMC202HD, and will play. However, it displays no audio levels and, when clicking Record, the buttons indicate recording, but the cursor doesn’t move nor is any level indicated.

I should have added that it is v2.3.3 of Audacity, and Windows 10 Pro.

Are you seeing the green “Sig” light up on the UMC202HD?
Can you hear the input if you plug your headphones into the UMC202HD?
Are you using Input 1 or input 2 on the UMC202HD (or both) ? If only one, use “input 1”.
