It worked before, found recent recording file in recent files of Audacity, but Windows Media player will not list it to burn.
Did you export as WAV? AUP projects ONLY work in Audacity.
Can you play it in Windows Media Player? I assume you’re burning a regular audio CD? Audio CDs are 44.1kHz, 16-bit, stereo (but I believe WMP will convert any format it can play).
yes, it will play the download, I burned one last week & it worked, the WP sharing is turned on.
I redirected file from Audacity to One Drive, & it showed up in recent playlist, but when tried to burn, error message : It is not possible to burn this list of files, because all of the files have errors or are missing burn rights, to learn more about the problems, click icon next to each file in burn last. change to data disc."
When I change to data, it asks for a RW disc.
While recording before that a Warning: Recorded audio was lost at the lableled locations.
Possible causes: other applications are competing with Audacity for processor time, you are saving directly to a slow external storage device.
I closed all running apps, & it was still the same, yes has been converted to wav format.
Problem solved:the app was bringing up a default album from the internet with a similar title as my track.
" hence the error " cannot burn, missing burn rights". I deleted it, renamed my album title, & then it would come up on playlists.
The final project, though, sounded like a big echo chamber, which was the same effect I noticed while recording, am guessing the external speakers on the pc were turned up too high to monitor, providing feedback to the pc, so will re-record project again with volume down.
The click removal did not work, had no problem with the older version (2013), when I left all settings on default & it came out perfect. Could not locate my old notes, but went by memory in this order.
1> apply noise reduction 2> normalize 3> apply click removal 4> export
