I have audacity 2.1.1 with a new Vicotia III Tunewriter turntable.
Before I do anything all sound on my computer works (Youtube, playback, movies, etc.) I then plug in my turntable to a USB in the back of the computer and do all my projects importing records to the computer, then opening the files in AVS Audio Editor. I complete all projects with perfect sound but once I have completed my projects, I return to Youtube, or any place that will play sound (other than audacity/AVS) and I will receive no sound. This holds true until I unplug the USB from the computer.
I want to be able to keep the USB in the computer with out having to keep messing with the USB connection. I would like to set it and forget it.
Troubleshooting steps attempted:
- reboot computer with USB in no luck.
- closed Audacity and AVS both program and in Task manager.
- attempted to look at sound settings but nothing to indicate where it is allowing sound to pull from
- nothing in device manager.
My specs.
