windows 10 sound issue

I recently installed Audacity 2.3.3 to convert my vinyl to mp3’s. I couldn’t hear what was playing on my turntable. I changed the output settings in Audacity to use my Realtek speakers. Now Audacity works fine but the sound no longer works for any other programs. Any ideas?
