Windows 10 - Media Player to Audacity 2.1.2

Unable to drag Media Player files to Audacity. Please advise.

Drag files to your desktop. Open Audacity and File > Import.

Thanks Koz but I have been doing that it wasn’t working. I finally right clicked the file in Media Player an clicked “open file location” which then allowed me to drag to desktop. for others info, when you want to delete the file icon on desktop I had to close Audacity in order to delete the file off desktop.
Thanks!!

As far as I know you can’t drag files from Media Player into any application on Windows 10. I don’t think it is just a permissions problem.

If it was a WMA or AAC/M4A file then that may happen. But it doesn’t happen in 2.1.3-alpha so you should not have that problem when 2.1.3 is released.
