Hello I am running Audacity on windows 10 and every time I try to export it crashes. Once it has done this initial crash it precedes to crash on startup after asking me whether I want to save or discard my recovered project. I have tried uninstalling including all the files in appdata that I could find and I still get this happening. It used to work without problem for me.
Please look in “Help > About Audacity” and tell us the exact 3 part version number. The current version is 2.1.2 and is available here: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/
That is not a crash when it starts up. It is offering to recover the audio that was in your project.
Where are you exporting to? Try exporting to your Music folder and make sure you have enough disk space to export.
