Audacity 2.0.3 (also occurs with 2.0.2)
Mac OS X Version 10.8.3 (Mac Pro; Processor 2 x 2.4 GHz 6-core Intel Xeon; 12 GB memory, 1333 MHz DDR3)
Upon launch of AUDACITY, main window locates in extreme upper left corner of screen–in fact top and left side of window are off-screen, so I cannot move the window and cannot access any of the controls located there. This behavior began in the last day or two with Audacity 2.0.2; I attempted to fix the problem by installing 2.0.3, but the behavior is identical.
Control-Click (right-click if you have that) once on the Audacity icon in the dock > Hide. Then click again > Show.
It’s a Mac thing, not an Audacity thing.

This is pretty unusual, so it’s possible your screen and the screen preferences are out of sync.
Apple (upper left) > System Preferences > Display > 1920 x 1080 (Make sure this matches your actual display)

Koz–
Thanks for quick reply. But there seems to be another issue. The “Hide/Show” sequence changed nothing. And the setting for my monitor seems to be in sync; 1600 x 1200 is the monitor and that is what the preferences indicate, too. Any other ideas? --mjb_nemo
Koz–Problem “solved,” using your hint–in Sys Prefs > Display, changed 1600x1200 >800x600, then BACK again. Main window now stays inside visible screen. Thanks for help! --mjb_nemo
