Window focus is lost after applying macro or commands in Ventura

In macOS Ventura, I have problems doing the following:
Open Audacity
Press R to start recording
After a few seconds, press space to stop
Command-s to save the project

The track is saved as aup3 BUT the window loses focus.
Still, Audacity is the main application, it has focus in the topbar menu.

If I press command-w the window closes but if I press j to go to the project’s beginning, it gives an error because some track should be selected and there is none selected.

Try this:
Open Audacity
Press R to start recording
Press space to stop
Press J to go to start of track
error message: “Track Start requires one or more tracks to be selected”.
It may seem a bit strange that a newly-recorded track is not selected, but this behaviour goes back to at least 3.0.0.
The Home key will go to the project start even when no track is selected.

Why don’t they fix it?
And why nobody cares?
Very strange!
