Window 11 - When playing a song in RadioDJ, Audacity (3.7.7) will NOT record - Please help

New computer with Windows 11. (Previous computer with Windows 10 worked fine).

I use a mixing desk connected to the computer via USB. When i speak through the microphone (on the mixing desk), audacity picks it up and records okay.

However when i play a track on radioDJ and record on audacity…. NOTHING!!!

Have read multiple suggestions on Google but no luck - most recently deleting the audacity folder from the app data/roaming folder, but still no :sleepy_face: . Any help will be appreciated!!!

Check to see if RadioDJ has recording capability built-in. You might not need Audacity.

Or, Audacity can record whatever you are hearing out of your soundcard: Recording Desktop Audio

Windows 11 has a privacy setting: apps (like Audacity) have to be permitted to access microphones, (that’s true also for USB audio interfaces, as they could be microphones).
