# Will not right click

Just clean installed Audacity 2.1.0 on XP SP3 (using exe installer) - also did the recommended LAME v3.99.3 and FFMepg 2.2.2. First experience and pretty happy - except it will not respond anywhere to right clicks. The HW and Win XP is working because the title bar will right click as usual (as will other programs), but nothing in the Audacity window client area will respond to right click - it’s just ignored. Any ideas please?

Because Audacity is a cross-platform application, and traditionally Mac computers have not had a right mouse button, “right click” is currently not used much in Audacity. In the current 2.1.1 version of Audacity, there is a right click menu on the Timeline (the time ruler above the track area).
