Why does audacity takes too long to start?

ALL of ther other programs installed on the computer start instantly once clicked but audacity needs at least 10 seconds, sometimes even longer, to start. Why is that? It’s installed from the community Arch repo. IDK if it’s compiled from source code because I choose audacity during the installation of Arch and whether or not it’s compiled from source - that only the OS knows.
Below are the audacity version and my system information which you may need.

During startup, Audacity looks in your system’s plug-in’s paths to see if there are any new plug-ins. It also interrogates the sound system to see what audio devices are available. These operations can each take a few seconds. On my machine (Xubuntu 18.04, i7, SSD), Audacity launches in about 5 seconds.
