Why can't we shut off save project, on exit?

Doing hundred of edits in a row, it seems rather stupid, I can’t shut this notice off.

Rather stupid, until the one time that you have an important, once in a lifetime recording and forget to save before quitting Audacity. The developers believe (correctly in my opinion) that safety is more importance than the minor inconvenience of clicking the “No” button when quitting Audacity,

But since I can’t do real batches, I’m doing thousands by hand. In about 10 seconds each.
