So, i have been working on my audio file and when I got finished, I went to go save it, but all options were grayed out (recent files & import were not). I’m using version 2.1.2. So can someone help me by telling me how to save it?
Ensure that playback is stopped and not just paused (click the Stop button).
Note that “Save” does not create an “audio” file, it creates an “Audacity Project”. To make a normal audio file you need to “Export” the audio. See here for more information: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/audacity_projects.html
