While Scrolling Through The Plugins One Day

Could you please add a way to move certain plugins to a separate folder, or at least, to be able to move some to a ‘most used’ section. I find myself scrolling a lot to access the ones I need.

Apologies if there already is a way to do this.

~thanks…

A handy little “trick” on Windows.
When you want an effect that is a long way down the Effect list, click on the Effect menu, then type the first letter of the name of the effect.

Example, if you want the “Normalize” effect, open the Effect menu and press “N” twice. The first time will skip down to “Noise Reduction”, then pressing “N” again will skip down to the next effect beginning with “N”, “Normalize”.

Another handy trick (works on all platforms):
If there are a few effects that you use very regularly, you can create keyboard shortcuts. See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/keyboard_preferences.html

Effects that you don’t want can be disabled in the “Add Remove Plug-ins” manager. See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/manage_effects_generators_and_analyzers.html
