Where can i find the Effects tab of Audacity Preferences?

:frowning: I have Audacity 2.0. I can’t find the Effects tab on audacity preferences. :confused: When i go to preferences the Effects tab doesn’t appear, there are only: Audio I/O tab, Quality tab, File Formats tab, Spectrograms tab, Directories tab, Interface tab, Keyboard tab and Mouse tab. :imp: But “effects tab” doesn’t appear. Where can i find it? :question: I need it to install some VST Effects, but i can’t find it. :angry:

That is not Audacity 2.0.
It may be Audacity 1.2.6 (which is obsolete).
