What is safest most stable Audacity version for Windows 11?

I’m using 3.7.7 on Windows 11 with no problems. This is the latest official release. But I’ve read of other users having to roll-back to older versions. If you have to roll-back it may be hit-or-miss depending on what you are doing or what 3rd-party plug-ins you are using, etc.

There is a 4.0 Alpha version for testing, evaluation, and experimentation. It’s not intended for practical use.

I use no plug-ins. Just have a few macros. Otherwise, I have no major issues. However, when I open a new track, the center line is too thick. It’s not a single line. I have to slightly adjust the height to reduce the fat line to a thin line for each new track you create. I might go back to 3.5 or a 3.7.6 just to see if it display’s properly.
