Weird screenshot in win10

The screenshot tools in 2.1.2 produce a weird image

Was OK in previous version.

v. 2.1.2 downloaded via installer not zip file

PS: first post. hope it works! thanks to the Audacity Team - an excellent and much-used program

Thanks, peterf. It is the same on Windows 10, but Mac and Linux seem unaffected. I raised a bug report http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1378.

Just in case other users read this post there are two workarounds. One is to use the Alt+PrtSc key combination to capture an image of the foreground window, equivalent to the Capture Full Window screenshot tool in Audacity, the other is to use the Snipping Tool accessory in Windows

Windows Vista 32bit / Audacity 2.1.2 / .exe installer

I have exactly the same problem. I just upgraded (from 2.1.0) and now I just get an almost totally white image. I’m going to revert to 2.1.1 until this get fixed because I’m using that screenshot tool quite a lot.
